The advantages of offset printing lie in the sharpness of the images and the large quantities that can be produced in a short time. The common process of offset printing involves transferring the image onto plates, which are then transferred onto the folding carton using a rubber roller.

Impresora La Unión Packaging has CTP (Computer to Plate) equipment that generates offset printing plates. These plates are created using photosensitivity processes that expose the plate material to the desired image for printing. Each plate represents a unique color, allowing for easy color separation adjustments. The plates are mounted in each color tower of the printing machine. Then, the rubber roller rotates over the plate, picking up ink and transferring it to the carton. This process is repeated for each color to create a CMYK print and, in our case, two additional inks.

Impresora La Unión Packaging utilizes offset printing processes that achieve high-quality packaging with six inks and higher resolution to create crisp details.
